Extreme NT 300

Network Terminal

The Extreme Copper network terminal, NT 300, is customer premises equipment that uses 10BaseS technology to deliver 10BaseT Ethernet over twisted pair copper wire. It supports symmetrical or asymmetrical data modes and multi rate Ethernet type operation from below 1Mbps to 27Mbps. NT 300 offers robust operation on severely distorted lines.

• Small compact unit with a 4.5" by 5.0" footprint.
• Standalone or can be wall mounted.
• Powered by wall plug power cube.
• Very low power consumption of less than 2 Watts.
• Front panel indicators are, Ethernet "Good Link", Ethernet "Activity", 10baseS "Sync" and Power.
• User access is an RJ11 for POTS access.
• RJ45 for 10BaseT access.
• Access for the 10BaseS line is via an RJ11 connector.
• Compatible with IEEE 802.3.
• Terminates lines up to a distance of 4000 ft / 1200 m.
• "Non-disturber" technology allowing noise-free coexistence in the same bundle with other legacy services.
• Configuration easily done via a VDSL operating channel (VOC) from an associated Link Terminal (LT) or network switch such as the SRi 3000.
• SNMP manageable.
